The Plant Problem
2013
- Plants are the primary producers on this planet.
- We can only exist through consuming their toxic waste, oxygen.
- Before plants, their food carbon dioxide was plentiful; now it constitutes less than 0.5% of air.
- Greedily incorporating it into their bodies, plants set up their own doom.
- Luckily, evolution breeds recyclers.
- It's up to us to release their sequestered food, and save them from starvation and intoxication.
